D. plexus brachialis
- netwerk van zenuwen bevatten zowel motorische als sensorische vezels,
bezenuwt alle spieren en de huid van de bovenste extremiteiten

- ontspringt vanuit de anterieure rami (vanuit de cervicale regio) van de
zenuwen die vertrekken vanuit de C5-T1, zenuwen komen nadien samen
tot ze de motorische eindtak bereiken

- wordt onderverdeeld in 3 verschillende onderdelen:
 3 Trunci (stam)
 3 koorden (fasciculi)
 5 Branches (eindtakken)

a. overzicht plexus brachialis




- zenuwen gaan zich vervlechten volgens een welbepaald patroon tot 3
stammen (trunci)

- als de zenuwen de rami verlaten, komen ze meer gebundeld samen

b. 3 trunci/ stammen
- superior stam: wordt gevormd door C5-C6

- medius stam: wordt gevormd door C7

- inferior stam: wordt gevormd door C8-T1

c. takken/ divisies
- 3 anterieure takken

- 3 posterieure takken
