what is the arrhenius definition of acids and in 1884, acids increase [H+] while bases increase [OH-] in aqueous

most specific definition on acid/base because requires you to be in
H2O and all bases to contain OH- in structure, but most bases do not
have OH- in structure
how do you determine if something is acid/base? look at molecular structure or properties of it, there are lots of
different ways to classify acid/base, so have to be specific when
defining them (some acids always acid and some bases always bases
but some bounce around)
what is bronsted lowry acid-base theory? what reactions between bronsted-lowry acids and bases are proton transfer
