additional support, guidance and resources to enhance soldiers

◉ How does the ABCP treat pregnancy? Answer: soldiers that are
pregnant will be exempt from the standard for the duration of the
pregnancy plus 180 day after. if after the 180 day they exceed the
body fat requirements they will be enrolled into the program
pending approval of a medical doctor


◉ What happens when a soldier fails a body fat assessment within
36 months of release from the ABCP? Answer: within 12 months a
DA Form 268 and soldier will undergo a medical evaluation if no
medical condition is found the commander will initiate separation
orders, bar to enlistment or transfer to the Individual ready reserve


After 12 months but less than 36 soldier there will be a DA Form 268
initiated and soldier will undergo medical evaluation. if there are no
underlying medical conditions soldier will be re enrolled into the
ABCP for 3 months or 90 days if soldier after the 90 day point
soldiers will be released from the ABCP and if they do not meet the
standard the commander will initiate separation action, bar form
reenlistment or transfer to the IRR.
