Many people may argue that Ted Bundy had a traumatic childhood that made him feel
unloved and unwanted, but the choice of his victims is undeniably unique to his love life with his
ex-girlfriend Elizabeth Kloepfer. His actions are an outburst of his inner feelings of both love
and hate which dictated his choice of victims as well as his actions towards them. Indeed, the
motivation behind choosing victims that resembled Liz as well as his untamed desire to control
and subdue them, is the value that his relationship with her had in his life. He felt ruined and
bitter that it was over couldn’t get over it hence taking his anger out on her look-alikes.
During the twentieth century, America experienced a series of nightmares as Theodore
Robert Bundy, popularly known as Ted Bundy, raped and killed numerous women in about
seven states. Ted Bundy was a necrophiliac, rapist and murderer during the 1970s.
Transition: His childhood is unstable, although he hailed from a middle-class family.

a) He was born in Burlington on 24th November 1946, to Eleanor Louise Cowell, 22
years old, who was never married.
b) He was treated by his grandparents as an adopted son to evade the shame by his
mother.

d) His mother moved to Tacoma, Washington, with him.
e) She got married to Johnnie Bundy in 1951 from whom Ted branded himself his
name.
