Executive Summary
The aim of this project plan is to outline key deliverables, tasks, roles, budget, communication plan, and
risk management plan for the creation of a user-friendly e-commerce site for Dee Dee’s Pawn Shop. The
website will allow the pawn show to expand its market beyond local foot traffic, and tap into growing
demand for online collectible sales. The platform will feature a curated catalog of daily deals, and
collectibles, allowing customer to select product they are interested. The rationale for developing the
website is that it will allow the pawn shop reach a wider consumer pool, while at the same time enhancing
the brand visibility of the pawn shop. The project will be implemented over a period of 12 weeks using a
hybrid project management approach combining Predictive (PMBOK 7th edition) for planning and Agile
Scrum for development to ensure structured execution with sufficient flexibility to allow for interactive
improvements. It is estimated that the project will require a budget of $10,000 and a cross-functional
team of four people. According to the plan, the cross-functional team should complete and deploy the
project by 27th of August 2025.
