This essay's topic would be an environment that will be articulated based on the non-
climatic anthropogenic indicators among the Caribbean demographic, settlement, and
anthropogenic subsidence. These factors have played a significant role in enhancing the low-
lying cities and provide the response options for and ways through which sustainable
development and resilience behave 1. The Caribbean is a region located within the greater and
lesser Antilles within American with unstable economic and demographic implications that
resulted from the colonization effects. Some of the cities within the Caribbean region include
Havana in Cuba, Kingstone in Jamaica, Nassau in the Bahamas, San Juan in Puerto Rico, Port of
Spain in Trinidad and Tobago, among others 2. The coastal deltas have experienced greater
alteration of these drivers in high confidence otherwise sediment and freshwater availability.
Therefore, this essay's main purpose is to examine the impacts of human activities on the
environment within the Caribbean regions.
Research Questions
1. What are some of the human activities and their implications to the environment
within the Caribbean cities?
2. What are the anthropogenic indicators and subsidence of human and economic
activities in the Caribbean pollution?
3. How is environmental pollution a key concern among the Caribbean settlement,
and how has the united nations response to this pollution?
4. What are some of the strategies that have been implemented to combat this
problem?

Major concepts that l be explored within this essay will be inclusive of the anthropogenic
indicators and subsidence, Caribbean demographics and the settlements. Anthropogenic
indicators can be understood as human activities that influence nature by introducing pollutants
such as industrial effluents, pesticides, and other pollutants that harm natural resources1. On the
