Boarding
Striking the closed fist of the hand into the open palm of the opposite hand.
Body Checking
The palm of the non-whistle hand is added across the frame and located upon the
alternative shoulder.
Butt-Ending
Moving the forearm, fist closed, beneath the forearm of the opposite hand-held palm down.
Charging
Rotating clenched fists round each other in the front of the chest.
Checking From Behind
Arm located at the back of the lower back, elbow bent, forearm parallel to the ice floor.
Cross-Checking
A forward motion with both fists clenched, extending from the chest.
Delayed Calling of Penalty
The non-whistle hand is extended instantly above the head.
Slow (Delayed) Whistle
The non-whistle hand is extended directly above the head. If play returns to Neutral Zone
with out stoppage, the arm is drawn down the instantaneous the p.C. Crosses the line, or as
soon as the offending team clears the zone.
Delaying the Game
The non-whistle hand, palm open, is positioned across the chest after which fully extended
immediately in front of the body.
Elbowing
Tapping the elbow with the opposite hand.
