In paragraph 7, social trust is the moral credit that society places upon an individual in
respect of their behaviour and attitude towards others. The individual has to demonstrate a
certain level of dependability and trustworthy in order to earn social trust.

The assertion that most schools and colleges spend too much money preparing students for
careers and not enough preparing them to make social decisions, is true to a certain extent.
The school curriculum is based the idea to instil knowledge, skills and career empowerment
as opposed to social decisions. The curriculum thus designed to help student to make money
or develop their careers. In as much as there are subjects like life orientation and life skills,
these are not core subjects and they do not really help much. Skills that help a student to be
able to work or get employed
