Summary GCSE English Literature – Jane Eyre Revision Mindmaps
There are 4 essay-focused mindmaps on the following: Jane as a strong character, Jane as a victim, Jane's treatment by men, and Outsiders in the text. Each of these mindmaps are split into potential main body paragraph focuses to answer exam questions on the above topics. There are key quotes and analysis (literary techniques/methods) that you can include in each of these paragraphs as well as relevant points of context that can be incorporated into the essay/each specific paragraph. There are 5 theme/genre-focused mindmaps on the following: social class, Christianity, gender, the Supernatural, and Jane Eyre as a Gothic text. Each of these mindmaps include ideas about context and examples of the themes throughout the text. These are useful to enhance understanding of the text as well as bolster essays/essay plans with greater, more in-depth information about the novel. This resource significantly helped my revision and aided me in achieving Grade 9 (160/160) in GCSE English Literature.
