• A SUBSTERNAL THORACIC PAIN precipitated by exercise,
emotion, or a heavy meal relieved by vasodilators &/or a
few minutes rest
- Ensure profound local anesthesia
- Nitroglycerin premedication if indicated
- Consider use of nitrous oxide sedation
- Administer supplemental oxygen
- Avoid excessive epinephrine ( no more than 4ml or 0.04 ml of epi)
