INTRODUCTION
You will choose from several topics involving emerging technologies and
the potential privacy and ethical concerns associated with them. By using a
generative artificial intelligence (AI), you will reflect on how the AI tool
approaches the topics of your choosing, as well as the potential bias and
privacy implications inherent to the use of a generative AI tool.
Note: Please note that the topics for use on this task can be found in the
"Prompt List" attachment.
/
, REQUIREMENTS
Your submission must represent your original work and understanding of
the course material. Most performance assessment submissions are
automatically scanned through the WGU similarity checker. Students are
strongly encouraged to wait for the similarity report to generate after
uploading their work and then review it to ensure Academic Authenticity
guidelines are met before submitting the file for evaluation.
Use the attached Prompt List below to respond to this task.
A. Using an artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot tool, generate a response to two
of the prompts found in the topic list. Provide a copy of each generated
response in your submission.
B. Use the AI-generated responses to complete the following:
1. Identify one individual privacy issue that was not accounted for in one of
the AI-generated responses.
2. Apply one of the following ethical frameworks to identify one potential
solution to a privacy issue in one of the AI-generated responses.
– Deontology
– Virtue ethics
– Utilitarianism
C. Apply the principles of individual ethical responsibility to complete the
following:
1. Describe one strategy for both AI-generated responses from part A that an
individual could take to improve their ethical use of technology.
2. Describe the steps that an individual should apply whenever they use AI to
generate a response to ensure that the response is accurate and free from
bias.
3. Describe how the use of generative AI tools potentially introduces
additional privacy and/or ethical concerns.
