🔷 Part 1: Foundation & Philosophy of Ayurveda
1️⃣ Ayurvedic Approach to Health
🕉️ Definition:
"Āyurveda" = Ayus (life) + Veda (knowledge) → The Science of Life.
Ayurveda doesn’t just cure diseases — it teaches how to live a balanced, healthy life.
It focuses on prevention first, cure later.
🔹 Main Principle:
“Swasthasya swasthya rakshanam, aturasya vikara prashamanam.”
→ Maintain the health of the healthy and treat the sick.
🔸 Two Core Pillars of Ayurveda
1. Swasthavritta (Health maintenance):
o Proper diet (Ahara)
o Lifestyle discipline (Vihara)
o Mental balance (Manasshanti)
2. Ātura chikitsa (Disease treatment):
o Diagnosis based on Dosha imbalance
o Herbal and natural medicines
💡 Hinglish Tip:
Ayurveda kehta hai — “bimari tab hoti hai jab insaan prakriti se alag ho jata hai.”
So, balance = health; imbalance = disease.
