§80092.8 - Devices Covered by Restricted Health Conditions

§80092.8 - Care Plan Requirement
A Restricted Health Condition Care Plan must be created, including physician
orders, emergency procedures, and staff duties. ⇨ Example: ARF develops a
care plan stating CPAP settings and emergency steps during power failure.
§80092.8 - Staff Training Requirement
Staff must be trained in operation, cleaning, and troubleshooting of devices. ⇨
Example: ARF staff receive hands-on CPAP training before assisting a resident.
§80092.8 - Documentation Requirement
Facility must maintain documentation of device usage and any incidents. ⇨
Example: ARF logs nightly CPAP usage and any alarms triggered.
