1. Addition: It is to increase / get the sum of two or more

digits / numbers.



2. Base: It is a digit / number that a logarithm, exponent or

another function use for their counting / operations.



3. Bracket: It is a symbol, usually in a pair ( left and right ),

that is used to enclose / section off digits / numbers / terms,

and to show multiplication in some cases.



4. Coefficient: It is a digit / number in front of a variable that is

multiplying with it.

, 5. Constant: It is a number that always has the same value ( a

fixed number ).



6. Counting Number: It is a non-negative integer / number

between 0 and infinity ( ∞ ) that is used show the

absence / amount of certain things.



7. Decimal: It is a number that consists of a comma or full

stop / decimal point mark ( depending on the instructions )

that is followed by one or more digits / numbers, and it is

another way to represent a fraction .



8. Denominator: It is to show how many parts a number has

divided into equally, although it is possible to have equations

in them instead, and it is at the bottom of the fraction bar.



9. Division: It is to get the quotient of two or more

digits / numbers and / or variables.



10. Equation: It is one string / collection of numbers, variables

and operators that end with equalling to another.
