1939 Reorganization - ANS-1) Civil Aeronautics Authority have become the Civil Aeronautics
Board. (CAB)
2) Air Safety Board have become abolished. CAB assumed its responsibilities.
3) Administrator became head of an office inside the DOC referred to as the Civil Aeronautics
Administration.
Air Commerce Act (1926-1938) - ANS-1) Purpose- "to promote the improvement and stability of
