1. Details of the roles, duties and responsibilities (to customers, the company and the
supplier) of the two categories of holiday reps;
2. HOLIDAY REPS
Welcome guests with welcoming speeches
Escorting the guests to their rooms
Selling excursions
Resolving conflicts and problems
Organising activities
Risk assessments
Writing reports

CHALET REPS
These reps spend most of the time in the chalet with the customers. The customers and the
reps will have a good relationship. They reps will cook, clan and do other stuff till the
customer is staying with them. They should be friendly and confident in their job. They are
also meant to help their customers with their queries and issues.
• Organising lift passes, ski hire and also lessons
• Airport transfers, ski hosting and running ski events
• Daily visits to your chalets
• Making daily visits to your chalets
• The evenings are busy too as you will be helping to organise and operating a successful ski
programme
• Assisting the chalet manager with the distribution of chalet supplies e.g. wine, linen,
cleaning products and frozen food

3. The skills, qualities and experience needed to succeed in each job;
Commination skills
They should have an outgoing, confident and energetic personality
Enthusiastic
Team working ability and leadership skills
Problem-solving ability
Planning and organisational skills

Experience of customer care, selling, dealing with large groups and working and travelling
overseas is desirable. Employers will look to see if candidates can work in a public-facing role
and therefore any evidence of that is very useful. Those who want be a children's
representative should have some relevant experience in childcare and to be a qualified
representative they should hold an Early Years Educator (EYE) Level 3 (or equivalent) in
childcare.

CHALET REPS-
They should have good communication skills since they will be spending most of the time
with the customers.
