Learning Activity 1.4: Selecting an Organization to Study
Select an organization that you will study in this course and write a two-page description
of it. This description should include:
- A name for the organization and the province or territory in which it operates (you may
fictionalize the name).
- The good(s) or service(s) that this organization produces and its business strategy.
- A diagram of the organization’s structure showing the jobs performed by workers,
reporting lines, and how many workers perform each job.
- A one-sentence description of each job.
- How you know and/or will find more information about this organization.
