and use, the indefinite article 'an'. introduce them first to a couple of new words
beginning with a vowel sound (a.e.i.o.u).
Level of Students: Beginner
Age of Students: 6 – 7 years of age

Learning outcomes/success criteria: All students should understand and be
able to use the indefinite article 'an'.

Strategies to deal with problems: Pair students so they can help and
encourage one another.
Introduction/warmer: First I will explain the definition : An article is a word
that comes before a noun. Will then explain we have learned the (indefinite
article 'a' - 'a book', 'a pencil', 'a dog' ) and today we will be focusing on (indefinite
article 'an' ).
I will then introduce them to single pieces of vocabulary and little chunks of language
as per the list of vocabulary.
