In this document, there are 3 spider diagrams of key notes and evidence for you to use in your questions in gcse edexcel history. In questions, particularly 4, 8, 12 and 16 mark questions, you will need to use at least one piece of evidence per paragraph and on this revisions page, the key notes can be used as evidence and contain dates and topic specific information. This specific revision resource is based on the Weimar Republic (relating to the Nazi German topic in history) from the years . The 3 spider diagram titles are: society, difficulties, government. The document also contains an easy way to remember the continents of the Treaty of Versailles as well as the key information in the Treaty that you will need to know for your exam (this question came up in the 2024 exam so is vital for you to know). There are key dates and names as well as events that you may be tested on during your exam on this and in my opinion, this document contains a variety of evidence that can be memorised and used in questions as well as key facts to support knowledge and show the examiner you know the context of the time period which will allow you to reach the top grades (7+) In my mock paper of the whole Germany topic, I got a 9 and that is simply because my revision resource had the key information that I needed to know and no more and no less. This allowed me to have key evidence for each time period that I could easily memorise without having large pieces of information that is not relevant and realistically will not be used in the exam.
