Navaho Wealth Systems: A cultural comparison
This essay explores the culture of the Navaho, who placed high importance on wealth sharing, and the hoarding of wealth was frowned upon. In this era of capitalism and globalization, one may ask, “To what extent, if any does this concept of “wealth sharing” exist in our traditional New World societies?”.
