King states that each of the aforementioned religions are distinguished by the philosophy, that the tenets of their beliefs are relevant to all groups of human beings, regardless of kinship, tribe, or society ranking.

This essay explores the culture of the Navaho, who placed high importance on wealth sharing, and the hoarding of wealth was frowned upon. The Navaho’s outlook was that the sharing of wealth (redistribution of resources), made the tribe and the culture stronger as a whole. In this era of capitalism and globalization, one may ask, “To what extent, if any does this concept of “wealth sharing” exist in our traditional New World societies?”.
