Standpipe maintained under pressure and equipped with low pressure alarm - Maintained as needed
Standpipe including piping leading to FD connection, inspected visually - Daily
construction drawings used to confirm routing of unexposed standpipe sections - Daily
FDNY/CSFM daily reports must be kept by documenting standpipe inspections, fire extingusher
inspections,and upkeep permit logs - Daily
FDNY first responders box maintenance and execution evacuation drills - daily, quarterly
standpipe pressurizing system, and alarm tested - weekly
licensed plumber/ fire suppression contractor perform air/water test of standpipe - during alarm
installation
standpipe alarm installation documented by CSFM - during alarm installation
standpipe alarm soundings logged and documentation includes description of response to alarm - per
incident
standpipe repaired and retested until retesting is successful after filed bi-weekly test by licensed
plumber/fire suppression subcontractor. Repairs documented - after failed biweekly inspection
sprinkler systems for use at construction sites shall be provided, maintained and made available for FD
use - maintained as needed
, CSFM shall be responsible for verifying FDNY hot work permit and supervising the issuance of
authorizations for hot work operations - daily
a fire guard is required at each hot work operation while in progress and shall continue on site for
minimum of 30 minutes after each hot work operation is complete. A log book shall be maintained on
site - daily
a fire guard shall be assigned one floor below hot work operations for fire exposures that are not
observable by fire guard on the floor above - daily
a fire guard shall perform patrols from 1600-2400 (4pm-12am) - daily
all fire guards shall have Certificate of Fitness - maintained as needed
Watch person shall be onsite from 2400-0800 (12am-8am)with the ability to notify the FD in case of fire.

enlarged first floor evacuation plan, standpipe riser diagram, Daily log and checklist binder - Gang Box

Acknowledgement of zero-tolerance no smoking policy signed by all workers - during orientations
Shall conduct an inspection of the construction site and all fire safety measures on at least a daily basis
and maintain a record of same in a bound log book or other approved system of record keeping - Fire
