My EPQ dissertation investigates gender equality in the UK through articles, statistics, books, and TV shows. This essay uses a wide range of evidence including the Suffragettes, the Equal Rights Amendment, The Sex Disqualification Act, the Gender Pay Gap, the Rape Culture, and Misogyny to conclude that there is no gender equality in the UK and even if there was there most likely would not be complete gender equality due to the ingrained Misogny within a society built through the years.

My English Literature essay (graded an A) examines the economic proposition of women through marriage. In Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen and The Penelopiad by Margaret Atwood. Two authors who are well-known for their feminist perspectives. My essays also explore the context of the Regency period and Ancient Greece, where Greek mythology is formed. Alongside, different types of critical analysis, naturally through a Feminist lens but also using Psychoanalytic and post-modernist theories.
