In dit document vindt u de bevindingen en verwerkte resultaten van synthese van benzoëzuur, door middel van een Grinard reagens. Het doel, principe, materiaal&methode, resultaten, discussie en conclusie is in begrepen. De verwerking van resultaten gaan specifiek over de analyse van: IR-spectra, 1-HNMR-spectra , smeltpuntbepaling, dunnelaagchromatografie en opbrengst. Daarbij zijn foto's, tabellen en spectrums in de bijlage opgenomen. Ook zijn er simpele formules gepresenteerd.

This is a lab report I had to write and explain what I did in the experiment. Part I explains the formation of hydrobenzoin. I explain the materials used and how the outcome come about and how the IR and HNMR graph can be used to conclude what product has been made. Part 2 concludes hydrobenzoin to be reduced to acetal. I explained how hydrobenzoin was converted into acetal by starting off with the line reaction, mechanism, experimental section, and results/conclusion.
