A. Quality Improvement Project
For this case, I would find it necessary for Lauren to start by determining the focus of this
kind of project. Afterward, she should investigate the sectors which deserved to be addressed so
that she can be able to formulate various action plans to better certain goals for the venture. After
all these preparations, she can proceed to note down some reports which will help by describing
the above action plans. She can proceed to put across some of the recommendations which will
enhance the achievement of this mission for the facility. Besides, Lauren can also form a team that
includes every important person in the setting which will contribute and help in attaining certain
set goals for this project. Lastly, she is required to supervise the quality improvement project and
research on any other information which will enhance its prosperity.

In this scenario provided, there are three major areas that Lauren is required to
major on particularly on the issues of scheduling. Some of these areas included:
Do patients arrive on time for therapy sessions and getting those with an
appointment? For this case, from the scenario, there are many delays reports especially
when patients are being taken for therapies.
The second focus majors on the patients who are receiving their full therapy
sessions. It is clearly stated that due to the late arrivals of the patients for the therapies their
time is cut short due to other planned schedules.
Thirdly, Lauren should also investigate the issues with billing charges.
