Introduction
In the field of business management, we sometimes see leaders deploying strategies
without a clear picture of what they want to achieve. It's critical to think about your business plan
as you establish and build your company which will enable you to create some sort of map to
help you determine the path your company will take and how you want it to grow in the future. A
company's strategy is a series of goal-directed actions needed to improve and sustain its superior
performance in comparison to its competitors (Kryscynski, 2015). The ability to design a
strategic plan that can survive change is the difference between success and failure for a
business. Companies that properly comprehend the strategic framework's essential components
will be able to make well-informed decisions that will secure their long-term success. This
project will go through the major components of a strategic planning framework, the importance
of that framework in maintaining a competitive edge, and the critical role of leadership in driving
the planning process.
Leadership in the Strategic Planning Process
Most outstanding global organizations began with objectives much beyond their
resources and skills, but they developed a culture of winning at all levels of the organization,
which they maintained for decades (Hamel & Prahalad, 1989). If we look at the big corporations
that have seen the world change for decades, we will see that they were able to withstand and
flourish for such a period of time through great strategic leadership. In a battle, the general is in
charge of a number of forces that must cooperate in order to win the fight and the war through
