What is the HRA?
The Human Rights Act is the UK's reinforcement of the European Convention on Human
Rights, integrating the pertinent laws into the domestic laws in the country. The HRA outlines
the fundamental rights the UK citizens are entitled to, seeking to protect children and young
individuals from related violations. The HRA concerns this population in a way that it aims to
preserve and adhere to the rights regarding protection and respect for the individual's private life
and their family or homes (Curtice and Hawkins, 2010). According to this law, every individual

Absolute Rights
These are non-delegated rights that seek to protect human rights against inhumane
treatment. These laws protect from tortures and degrading treatment or inhumane punishments as
outlined in Article 3. These rights also protect individuals from forced or coerced labor, as
indicated under Article 4 of this law (Curtice and Hawkins, 2010). For example, children who
are abused physically and emotionally and forced to work to obtain basic necessities, including
food, are violated under these rights.
Limited Rights
Limited rights include the liberty rights as outlined in Article 5. These rights are limited
under predetermined and explicit circumstances-. It follows the rights and provisions set out in
the ECHR, except for the general rights (Curtice and Hawkins, 2010). For instance, while it is
unlawful to detain and deprive an individual of their rights of freedom and liberty, this law can
