1.BOT
Bot verandering wordt gestimuleerd door belasting
Onderbelasting zorgt voor ontkalking => optimale belasting is van belang

2.GEWRICHT
2.1. Kraakbeen
F: schokdemping en sturing van het gewricht
- Chondrocyten
- Water: wordt bijgevuld tijdens momenten van rust => belangrijk bij
overbelasting
- Geen doorbloeding => kraakbeen kan slecht of moeilijk herstellen
- Geen zenuwvezels => pijn kan NOOIT uit kraakbeen komen

2.2. Kapsels en ligamentuur
F: statische stabilisator van het gewricht R: bij beweging gaat het
kapsel mee
Bevat:
- Collageen F: stevigheid
- Elastine F: flexibiliteit
- Bloedvaten
- Bezenuwing => pijn kan wel uit kapsel komen = capsulitis
Bij ontsteking => verdikking van het kapsel
Invloed van type belasting en snelheid
Hoge belasting en plotse snelheid => complete scheur door midden
Lage belasting en trage snelheid => scheur thv de insertie
+ kans op avulsie (= deel van bot komt mee los met de scheur)
Mechanoreceptoren in het kapsel
F: mechanische belasting thv het kapsel registreren
ALG: neemt sensorische info op
o Gaat via afferente banen naar de dorsale hoorn van de grijze
massa
 Reflexboog: directe synaps wordt gemaakt in de ventrale
hoorn en motorische reactie volgt uit efferente banen
 Hersenen: directe synaps wordt gemaakt naar de witte massa
 info gaat naar hersenen
