AEs: GI upset, constipation, diarrhea

Morphine (Epimorphine) - ANSWER-HIGH ALERT
Class: Opioid analgesic
Purpose: Decreased pain (moderate to severe)
BB Warnings: Respiratory depression (<12/min), substance abuse, do not discontinue abruptly
Common SEs: confusion, sedation, constipation

Naloxone (Narcan) - ANSWER-Class: Opioid antagonist, antidote
Purpose: To treat opioid overdose
AEs: N&V, nervousness, opioid withdrawal symptoms
