Bilharzia A travel related disease caused when a certain type of water
snail penetrates the skin of a human swimming or walking in

Malaria A travel related disease that can be prevented by keeping doors
and windows closed at night when in areas where the disease is
prevalent.
Yellow fever A travel related disease that requires a traveller to be vaccinated
before entering a country. This disease can only be contracted
once.
Cholera A travel related disease spread through consumption of
contaminated food or water. Symptoms are diarrhoea and
severe vomiting.
