A. Students will be able to identify and locate each of the fifty states on a
map.
B. The students will be in groups of 4 or 5 with a blank copy of the
United States. A list of all the states will be provided to each group.
They will work together to label as many of the states as they can. I
will walk around the room and to each group to see how they are
doing and provide any tips or hints I can without giving them the
answers. I will collect them all to check and write any corrections
down on the papers as needed. These will be passed back to the
students so they can study them to learn the locations and names of
all the states.
