Reinforcement:
A behavior reinforcement - ANS-relation that occurs without the presentations of
consequence by other people
\Automatic reinforcement - ANS-some behaviors product their own reinforcement
independent of the meditation of others a behavior
\Conditioned reinforcers: ie - ANS-A previously neutral stimulus change that has
been acquired through stimulus pairing with one or more unconditioned reinforcers
or conditional reinforcers.
\Differential reinforcement - ANS-Differential reinforcement of alternative behavior
(DRA)
Differential reinforcement of other behavior (DRO)
Differential reinforcement of low rates (DRL)
Differential reinforcement of high rates (DRH)
Differential reinforcement of diminishing rates (DRP)
\Generalized Conditioned Reinforcer - ANS-A common reinforcer that as a result of
having been paired with many unconditioned and conditioned reinforcers does not
depend on a current EO for any particular form of reinforcement for its effectiveness.
\immediacy - ANS-If the reinforcer is to reinforce a particular response it must
immediately follow other response: ie fade over time
\Negative reinforcement - ANS-the occurrence of a response produces the removal.
Termination, reductions, or postponement of a stimulus which leads to an increase in
the future occurrence of that response.
\positive reinforcement - ANS-when a response is followed by presentations of
stimulus and as a result similar responses occur more frequently in the future.
\Premack Principle - ANS-Making the opportunity to engage in a behavior that
occurs at a relatively high free operant of baseline. Rates contingent on the
occurrence of low frequency behavior will function as reinforcement for the low
frequency behavior.
\Reinforcement - ANS-If a behavior is followed closely in time by a stimulus even and
as result the future frequency if that type of behavior increase in similar condition
