twelve years old my parents brought me to Beverly Flight Center at Beverly Regional Airport in
Danvers, Massachusetts for my first flight lesson. After that flight I was hooked - i knew what i
wanted to do for the rest of my life. I started taking flight lessons once a month to start building
my hours. As I continued flying at Beverly Flight Center they offered me a job to start washing
the airplanes on the weekends. I did this to make money to help pay for my flight lessons. I
continued taking lessons and washing planes till I turned 16 where I accomplished my first solo
flight. I tried to solo on my 16th birthday but the airport was IFR, so I did it the week of my 16th
birthday. When I turned 17 I earned my private pilot's license in my junior year of high school.
After graduating high school I became a flight dispatcher behind the desk at Beverly flight center
scheduling flights and answering the phone. I also joined the North shore community college
