X26E & X26P FIRING - ANSWER-Single trigger pull will initiate a 5 second cycle
Cycle will continue if trigger is held
Placing the TASER on safe will immediately stop the cycle
Both probes must connect to target to be effective
Electrical charge can penetrate up to two inches of cumulative clothing (1 inch per
probe)

microprocessor and support

DC measures the time between each energy pulse discharged
from the weapon
DPC runs at 19 pulses per second for maximum takedown power
Digital Power Magazine - ANSWER-10-year shelf life
• 2 lithium batteries
• Provides up to 195 cycles
• Leave DPM in weapon
• DPM removed after 4 hours can corrupt system
DPM REPLACEMENT - ANSWER-When the DPM is replaced with a DPM
containing a newer update of software than the current version in the X26E, an
"UPGRADE" programming will occur
• A "p" will be displayed in the CID during the upgrade programming

Removal of the DPM during the "p" state (programming) "WILL" corrupt the software.
If this occurs, an "E" or "H" will be displayed.
The X26E must then be returned to TASER for troubleshooting purposes, unless a
certified TASER technician is on staff.
