as soon as possible.
Force - ANSWERPhysical power used to compel an offender to take action against
their will . Or to prevent an offender from taking action that would be damaging to
themselves, others and/or property.
Deadly Force - ANSWERforce applied by a police officer that is likely or intended to
cause death or great bodily harm.
Use when: offender is escaping order offender to stop before using.
The purpose of controlling weapons in a facility - ANSWERTo prevent escapes,
avoid distractions and to ensure safety, and security of facility.
What are the four Cardinal Rules - ANSWER1. Treat guns as if they are loaded
2. Point muzzle in a safe direction
3. Keep finger off trigger/ outside trigger guard until you are on target and have
decided to fire
4. Be sure of your target and whats beyond it
Reloading 4 - ANSWER• Administrative- weapon is holstered (load while in holster)
• Combat- out of the holster drop magazine on the floor and reload.
• Out of battery- out of ammunition no choice but to reload.
• Tactical- save lesser rounds and use a full magazine
