A1 Curriculum Overview

The curriculum I have chosen is the Write Bright writing curriculum. This is designed for

K-6 students to use different strategies to improve their writing skills. The curriculum breaks

down the writing process and provides teachers with thorough lesson plans for each grade

according to standards. This curriculum would be used to build and strengthen writing skills

according to grade level standards, eventually building writing stamina to be able to write

essays. Prompts, lessons, and books are provided to support students in writing and learning

to be a successful writer.



A2 Stakeholders and Strategies

● Caregivers: Caregivers can be informed and provided access to the curriculum so

that students are able to view lessons or work on writing at home as well.

Caregivers will be sent updates through weekly newsletters as to what students

are working on in their writing, where they are in the process as well as what

lessons have been taught. This informs caregivers on not only their child, but also

lets them know specifically what students are doing if they fall behind or need to

take work home.

, ● School Personnel: School personnel will be informed and updated through email

as to where students are in their writing. This can include paraeducators and other

staff that are assisting students in school work so that they are aware of what

students are working on and where they can best be supported. This can also be

told verbally when discussing what students are working on as well as

expectations.
