The Alignment guarantees that educational activities, assessments, and learning objectives
are designed to achieve desired outcomes. By aligning prompts with course objectives and
student learning outcomes, educators provide a clear framework that guides students in applying
knowledge and skills in a meaningful way. This alignment fosters consistency, reinforces key
concepts, and ensures that students actively work toward the specific competencies required for
success in the course or program. Each prompt in the summative performance assessment is
carefully aligned with at least one course objective and student learning outcome to ensure
relevance and coherence. A summative assessment describes student achievement after the
instructional process is completed and a course grade is assigned (McDonald, 2017). These
