A. Curriculum Implementation Plan
A1. Overview
i-Ready mathematics is the curriculum I would choose to implement. The i-Ready math
curriculum is made by a company called Curriculum Associates. Their program's key points
is personalized learning paths based on the student's needs. They are paced at a speed that
is beneficial to the student. The personalized learning plans are based on assessment data.
The i-Ready curriculum is both digital and resource-based. The digital version also includes
fun interactive learning games.
A2. Stakeholders
Students: Students are the biggest part of this curriculum implementation. This
curriculum implementation directly impacts them and their academic career. The
teacher and any aides working within the classroom will ensure that students
understand the curriculum. That they know how to navigate the online resources.
This will be a new platform for them so they will need extra support so they can
successfully use it. They will also be given instruction on how to understand and use
their online learning path.
School Personnel: School personnel will need to be trained in using the new
curriculum. All school staff will have a part in helping with this curriculum so it
is important they are trained in it. Planning sessions will teachers be
implemented
with other teachers. Also, professional development training will be incorporated so
teacher are able to navigate and use the new curriculum in a beneficial way.
