Value of Information Literacy
The value of information literacy when dealing with academic success is vital because as a
student being able to develop critical thinking skills and being able to throughly do research and
turn in quality work.
In personal life the value of information literacy comes down to being able to make good
decisions that can effect short or long term living and wellness. You can do informed research to
find out what school is best for you children or what bank is best for your finances.
Professional life, most job ask individuals to problem solve, work as a team or work
independently the value of information literacy can help you in a ll aspects of professional life if
you become proficient.

1. Whats the difference between bottled water and tap water?
A study in 1999 by The National Resource Defense Council (NRDC) conducted a 4 year study
looking at the difference between brands of bottled water versus tap water and concluded “There
