We identify disabled inmates through vests', glasses,
canes, hearing aids, ect. Usually inmates suffering from a
,disability will wear a vest that identifies there disability. Ex.
Hearing impaired, mobility impaired.
What are the levels of staff disciplinary process?
Preventative.
Corrective.
Adverse.
Preventative: Verbal Warning, On the job training.
Corrective: 1123 Employee Counseling Record (ECR), Letter
of Instruction (LOI).
Adverse: Letter of Reprimand (LOR), 3 year max, Pay
reduction, Demotion in rank, Suspension, Termination,
Possible criminal prosecution.
What are dispositions a Hearing Officer can apply with an
Admin 115?
30 days loss of privileges.
40 hours of extra duty.
Confined to Quarters X10 days on RDO's or 5 Consecutive
days.
Trust account hold for property violations.
Verbal Counseling or 128a.
Dismiss in the interest of justice.

837 a: brief description of why happened.
837 a1: A complete synopsis of what happened.
837 b1: Inmate information.
837 b2: Officer involved information.
837 b3: Visitor information (if visitor involved).
837 c: Written reports of those involved.
