aimed at rapidly reducing core body temperature within 1 hour- Oral or IV
fluid administration-
Heat Exhaustion- Move Caleb to a shaded, cool environment with active cooling.
give oral rehydration to replace electrolytes and water. Physiologic saline or
isotonic glucose solution should be administered IV if oral rehydration is not
enough/tolerated. Caleb will have to rest for 2 days with continued dietary
supplementation.
