This manual serves as a guide for nurse educators to compare and
contrast four standardized testing and NCLEX-RN preparation programs. Links are
provided in each chapter to allow faculty to view the products offered through these
vendors. Each chapter is broken into categories of basic information, entrance
assessment, proctored assessments, remediation, practice tests, case studies,
question banks, NCLEX-RN preparation and cost to allow faculty to navigate to the
area of interest. This manual is meant to serve as a time saver, in that faculty can
do a comparison of four of the common products on the market for nursing
standardized testing and NCLEX-RN preparation products. This manual will be
especially helpful when deciding which standardized testing program and NCLEX-RN
program would best meet the needs of a nursing program. A matrix is found on
pages three to eight which is outlines each programs main features.
