certified for up to 14 days of intensive tx.
PT entitled to certification review hearing within 4 days of date of certification
Involuntary Confinement: Post-certification Holds (following the initial 14-day hold) -
✔✔5260: at the end of the initial 14-d hold (5250), a person who remains imminent
threat to self ma/b confined for add'l 14 days; NOT renewable.
5270.15: at the end of the 14-d hold (5250), a PT who remains GD/A certified for extra
30 days; no renewal unless petition for conservatorship filed during the hold
5300: at end of 14-d hold (5250), homicidal PT confined up to 180 add'l days; CAN be
renewed
