Things looked at include: disease, tooth loss, economic hardship, reduced
social contact, multiple medications, involuntary weight changes, needing
assistance with self care, elder years beyond 80
Two levels:
Level I: Screen identifies those who need more comprehensive assessments
Level II: Screen provides more diagnostic information on nutritional status
RD's greatest involvement is with Level II screens
