Adult Unconscious From Obstructed Airway - Answer-Activate the Emergency

object is seen.

Child Unconscious from Obstructed Airway - Answer-Activate the Emergency Response
system, begin CPR with exception (after 30 compressions, check for airway for
obstruction), Remove object if only you can see it.

Infant Unconscious from Obstructed Airway - Answer-Begin CPR with exception (after
30 compressions, check for obstruction), remove object ONLY if you see it, activate the
emergency response system.

AED for Adults - Answer-Use Adults pads for 8 years and up.

Use AED when it arrives. Exceptions: EMS Rescuers may consider 1.5-3 minutes of
CPR before AED if arrest was not witnessed.

Asphyxial Arrest- Do 5 cycles of CPR before the AED.

Child AED - Answer-Use Child pads for 1 year- 8years old.
