what is the term for this? - ANS -They are more successful because there is a magazine for
everyone and demassification contributed to this.
How have postal regulations shaped the industry? Recognize two specific incidences of this. -
ANS -This contributed to the old, general interest of publications going away. Mailing prices
became very cheap in the 1940s but then it became more expensive due to the 2008 stock
market crash.

We looked at the top circulation magazines and at the top magazines in terms of revenue. The
lists were different. Why? - ANS -The list of revenue has a massive presence in ad revenue that
the top circulating magazines don't have. Those magazines are based mostly on subscription
revenue and are non-consumer magazines.
How has demassification affected the magazine industry? What two events prompted the
