If the residence of the designated certified operator is not within normal
commuting distance or is more than 100 miles from the Office or sub-office he is
supervising, or if the designated certified operator is employed in more than one
1 occupation: - ANS - •The commission may require such designated certified
operator to appear in person
•Or furnish information in writing to show that he or she is personally directing
supervising and controlling the pest-control like activities of the license.

The licensee shall permanently Mark all the licensees vehicles and mobile
equipment used regularly for sales and service, in Bold-Print letters not less than
2 inches in height and on contrasting backgrounds, with the following
information - ANS - •The name of the licensee
•Permanent markings attached to the vehicle

(Administration) - ANS - Administration of the Georgia structural pest control
commission shall be administered by the commissioner of agriculture

Organization of commission - ANS - Georgia structural pest control commission
shall consist of 7 members:
- The head of the department of entomology at the University of Georgia.
- The commissioner of the Georgia department of agriculture.
- The commissioner of the Georgia Department of human resources.
- 3 residents of Georgia who are currently certified under this act and who are
actively engaged in the past control industry.
, - 1 person having a recognized interest in consumer affairs and protection but
who has no connection whatsoever with the pest control industry.
- The latter 4 members shall be appointed by the commissioner of agriculture.

(AA) Reasonable Amount Of Time: - ANS - Means the production of records
required to be kept in the normal course of business within 48 hours when
requested by the commission, commissioner, or or the authorized representative
of the commissioner. However, in case of accidental poisoning's of human or
domestic animals or in case of environmental contamination the requested
records may be required to be a produced immediately.

(AB) Registered Employee: - ANS - Means any employee at least 18 years of age
registered under the provision of the Act.

(AC) Repellent: - ANS - Means any substance which may or may not be toxic to
pest but is generally employed for the purpose of preventing the entrance or
attack of Pests.

(AD) Restricted Use Pesticide: - ANS - Any pesticide as defined in this rule whose
label bears one or more uses which have been classified as restricted by the
administrator of EPA or any use of pesticides which when used in accordance
with the label or widespread and common practice, The commissioner
determines, after hearing, requires additional restrictions to protect the
environment, including man, lands, beneficial insects, and any animal, crop or
while life which is not a pest.
