I. Name and discuss four prevention essential health benefits for women that must be
covered under the Affordable Care Act.
Medical services provided on an outpatient basis without even being committed to a
hospital are referred to as ambulatory patient service, often known as outpatient care. This
service is offered in places including ambulatory surgery centers, specialized clinics, doctors'
offices, and hospital outpatient departments (Becker et al., 2021).
Hospitalization is the term for being admitted for medical care. The services offered
include inpatient and surgical treatment (Becker et al., 2021). The medical treatment offered
to women throughout pregnancy, delivery, and the postpartum period is known as maternity
and pediatric care (Becker et al., 2021). It comprises the preconception, prenatal, postpartum,
and family planning aspects of health care.
Laboratory test requisitioning and procuring, lab test specimen collecting and
accessioning, lab test specimen testing on specimens, documentation of laboratory results, and
delivery of laboratory test results are all included in the term "laboratory services," which refers
to lab tests (Becker et al., 2021).
II. For women in the age range of early adulthood describe:
The psychosocial development.
Women have a higher probability to become pregnant during their early adult years.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding are the most notable traits that occur in the early adult period.
Hormones shift throughout pregnancy, and progesterone levels gradually rise (Becker et al.,
2021).
