Proposal Overview
When running an organization, it is crucial to constantly improve or it will become obsolete in the
market. Each organization functions differently but the need to grow will always remain the same. So, in
ordnance with that goal in mind it is important to constantly review current structures, software and
functionality. As we look at our services and procedures, we notice that we are not moving at peak
efficiency and decisions made when the business was in its infancy is now becoming an issue with new
rules, regulations and guidelines. When reviewing organization structure, it is important to keep an open
mind the various tools the best practices and the way they may impact the changes you are trying to
make.
Summary
When completing a project there are certain steps can facilitate or hinder how successful you will
be. By thoroughly outlining a Teams or SharePoint best use process we eliminated a lot of user
uncertainty. Also, by staying consistent in communication we were able to keep our tasks urgent priority
with the data owners. Additionally, we eliminated reoccurring issues in our environment with strict
guidelines and policies. Lastly, we made the process and progress able to be replicated as needed with
documentation and end user training.
Problem Summary
When looking at issues both large and small you need to consider a few things such as how big of
an issue, what will be impacted and why we should change it. By asking these questions we can discern if
we need to make the change because it will become critical or if it may be something that we should do
because systems, services, procedures are outdated. By knowing why, we are doing something we can
determine an approach and measure sense of urgency.
We were asked by the business if we could help reduce cost for data center overhead by
migrating to the cloud while replicating current environment. At our current organization we have
projects, casework and recently we discovered there are hinderances in the current process that can be
