Blogs is one type of media that can be used for campaigns as it is cheap and e昀昀
ective how ever it can be di昀케cult to update blogs regularly. A strength of using
blogs is that they are easy to create and cheap and they post fresh information
and include links to social media and other sources of information. For
example, the Unlock campaign uses blogs to promote and spread their work and
the blog acts as a diary and can provide regular in-depth updates on the progress
of their campaign. Moreover, this is extremely bene昀椀cial for people who are
already aware of the campaign and want to gain regular updates about the
progress being made. The Unlock blog also has links to articles which are
relevant to the campaign. However, a limitation of using blogs for campaigning
would be that its di昀케cult to update blogs regularly and they are not accessible to
people without internet, moreover even though the blog includes a lot of
information it may be too long, and this can cause some people to not read them
and therefore they don’t get involved with the campaign so this would make the
blog unsuccessful.
Films is another type of media used for campaigning as they can be short and so
it gets the point across moreover a film can be more appealing for some people
